The path of writing is one I'd never have thought to find myself on. It is, indeed, a newly discovered gift and passion, one that I feel blessed to have found and excited to share with the world.

The discovery, honing, and growing into a man who is now confident enough to share his thoughts and perspective with the world all began two years ago, after committing my life to Jesus, my Lord and Savior, whose presence in my life has given me the courage and confidence to grow from scribbling in my notepads, to writing in journals, and now to publishing pieces on a website.

The birthing of The Sojourner is, indeed, a testament to God's love for me, and to His love for the world. It is evidence of what He can do with our lives when we live fully surrendered to Him.

My hope and vision for every piece that goes up from this space is that it reaches every heart and soul that needs it, be it in the faith, inspiration, or philosophy category, hoping it helps them reflect, realign, and become better as they walk their journey through life.
